For persons of interest who may not have heard that the Lubicon Issue has
never been settled. This is a story that has been lost in the consciousness
of the community seeking Justice Peace and Right Relationship in our time.

Subject: FOLA Interfaith Initiative - FOLA AGM & Planning Meeting
Dear members of the new FOLA Interfaith Initiative,
We write to formally invite you to the Friends of the Lubicon
Alberta's Annual General Meeting/Action Planning Meeting on the 16th
of October, 2007 at 7:00pm in Education North 2-135 at the University
of Alberta's main campus.
The purpose of this meeting is to establish a coalition of interested
parties to resurrect the Lubicon land claim issue, bringing it back
into the public sphere and pressuring government to settle the case.
As these are tasks requiring considerable resources, a collaborative
effort between organizations with similar goals is the logical way to
launch this campaign.
We feel that the FOLA Interfaith Initiative has a critical role to
play in this issue. Your attendance and participation in this meeting
is invaluable to building this coalition. Please RSVP as soon as soon
as possible so we can confirm the guest list. Email back to this
address (dbork at ualberta.ca) to reach me, Dietlind, or contact me by
phone at 271-3086. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.
In solidarity,
Friends of the Lubicon Alberta
