The following resource comes from Sojourners, which is part of the renewal
movement in Christian faith in the world.
This might be a resource for churches that want to express the words from
Isaiah's reading this week in the lectionary.
"learn to do good; seek justice, rescue the oppressed, defend the orphan,
plead for the widow. Come now, let us argue it out, says the Lord:" Isaiah
1: 17 - 18a.
Hope your summer is going well,

Subject: They're looking for your church
Dear friend,
As congregational coordinator at Sojourners, I hear from a constant stream
of people from across the country who want to find a church in their
community that shares our common concern for the biblical call to social
justice.
That's why I'm so excited to announce that members of our congregational
network are now being listed in a searchable directory on our Web site, so
that Sojourners supporters and readers can instantly find a church near
them.
Click here to become a part of our <http://go.sojo.net/ct/BpsWa4n11mVf/>
Faith & Justice Churches network and open your doors to these
justice-seeking Christians.
The directory is growing every day, as more and more of the almost-700
churches in our network are posting their information, which is just one
click away for the 50,000 visitors who view our Web site daily.
Click here to try it for yourself. <http://go.sojo.net/ct/X1sWa4n11mVv/>
We obviously can't personally vouch for so many churches. But while we're
not endorsing them, they've endorsed our message by signing up for the
church network and using the preaching and educational resources we offer to
help equip, connect, and mobilize churches across the country:
* Weekly sermon prep materials
* Sermons on social justice themes
* Ready-to-use, small-group study resources
* Organizing toolkits
* Downloadable bulletin inserts on current issues
* Subscription to Sojourners magazine, including 15 years of archived
content
* Discussion boards
* And much more ...
For only $99.95 a year, your church <http://go.sojo.net/ct/BpsWa4n11mVf/>
can receive all of these resources and reach out to a growing constituency
of Sojourners friends and supporters-click here to learn more.
Grace and Peace,
Kevin Lum
