Hello TRN,

  

Canadian and Alberta Environmental groups are asking people and groups from
all around the world to help us stop the intense development of Alberta's
oil sands and the resulting destruction of the boreal forest and increase in
greenhouse gases.  The Alberta government is asking for people to comment.
Please point out that Alberta has no right to get rich at the expense of the
world environment, and that people around the world are looking to Alberta
for leadership in development of renewable energy sources and an immediate
phase out of harmful petroleum projects.

 

Deadline is October 4-so send it now-one sentence is enough!  Please pass it
on to others who would be interested.  Let them know the world is watching!
